I was loving it...

until the drums came in. Maybe that's just because I was expecting it to stay chilled out and when the drums came in double time I was disappointed. Also I didn't think the acoustic / real sound of them went with all the other electronic sounds.

You've still made an amazing version of this classic VG tune though.

Hmmm

Not a fan of the drum sound, everything else sounded good though, although it seemed fairly uptempo for ambient, like it 'felt' like a beat would come in.

Usually when I listen to stuff on newgrounds I am disappointed because it starts out great but then doesn't go anywhere from there. Finally something different!! This is epic and I how you changed it up and kept it interesting... the different sections / intersecting melodies etc etc.

Excellent Trance

The only thing I could think of was that imo it take too long to come "in", as in it took like almost a minute for the beat to come back in from where it drops out at about 1:16. To me it kind of felt like this was just drawing it out to make it longer.

It may just be that I've listened to Daft Punk a lot and it was a bit surreal hearing the same song but different :)
